Job description
As a result of our continued growth, our client is recruiting an Approved Electrician to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical work, including installation, test and inspection across multiple commercial, and industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Inspect, test, and certify electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently and implement appropriate solutions.
- Work from electrical drawings, plans, and specifications to execute projects.
- Supervise and mentor junior electricians and apprentices as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including reports on testing and inspections.
- Liaise with clients and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Always ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- What we’re looking for
- City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
- ECS gold card
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in performing electrical installation, test and inspection.
- Full UK driving licence
- Be comfortable using smart phone/tablet/laptop
- The ability to work confidently alone
- Enthusiasm towards working with apprentices and trainees with the ability to provide guidance and support
