Job description As a result of our continued growth, our client is recruiting an Approved Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical work, including installation, test and inspection across multiple commercial, and industrial sites. Key Responsibilities: • Perform electrical installations in accordance with industry standards and regulations. • Inspect, test, and certify electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards. • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently and implement appropriate solutions. • Work from electrical drawings, plans, and specifications to execute projects. • Supervise and mentor junior electricians and apprentices as needed. • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including reports on testing and inspections. • Liaise with clients and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery. • Always ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. What we’re looking for • City & Guilds 2391-52, Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations Course or equivalent • City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations • ECS gold card • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in performing electrical installation, test and inspection. • Full UK driving licence • Be comfortable using smart phone/tablet/laptop • The ability to work confidently alone • Enthusiasm towards working with apprentices and trainees with the ability to provide guidance and support What we’ll provide • Company van • Fuel card • Overtime opportunities • Full uniform and PPE provided
