Our client is looking to recruit an Electrical Supervisor to join our team due to a continuation of growth and new projects.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily performance of workers and set goals and deadlines for jobs managed.
  • Organise employees' workflow and ensure they understand their duties.
  • Monitor productivity and provide feedback as required.
  • Assess actual installation progress against forecasted installation programme.
  • Accountability for any day-to-day queries that may arise, including performance management.
  • Ensure site installation complies with project specification requirements.
  • Inspect installation for defects and initiate rectification.
  • Attend site co-ordination meetings as requested.
  • Effectively manage labour and resources.
  • Take ownership and responsibility of ongoing projects.
  • Communicate well with managers and on-site staff, keeping them updated on the progress of current contracts and providing support and direction.
  • Enthusiasm towards working with apprentices and trainees, with the ability to provide guidance and support.
  • A highly motivated individual capable of motivating others.

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 5 years previous electrical experience.
  • Proven experience as a supervisor or similar relevant role.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations.
  • 18th Edition, 2391 or equivalent (Desirable).
  • SSSTS.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical wiring systems.

What we’ll provide:

  • 24 days holiday + bank holidays.
  • Travel time paid from company office to site.
  • Overtime opportunities, 1.5x weekdays and first 6 hours Saturday, 2x after and Sunday.
  • Full uniform and PPE.
  • Pay rate at £26ph.
