Our client is looking to recruit an Electrical Supervisor to join our team due to a continuation of growth and new projects.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily performance of workers and set goals and deadlines for jobs managed.
- Organise employees' workflow and ensure they understand their duties.
- Monitor productivity and provide feedback as required.
- Assess actual installation progress against forecasted installation programme.
- Accountability for any day-to-day queries that may arise, including performance management.
- Ensure site installation complies with project specification requirements.
- Inspect installation for defects and initiate rectification.
- Attend site co-ordination meetings as requested.
- Effectively manage labour and resources.
- Take ownership and responsibility of ongoing projects.
- Communicate well with managers and on-site staff, keeping them updated on the progress of current contracts and providing support and direction.
- Enthusiasm towards working with apprentices and trainees, with the ability to provide guidance and support.
- A highly motivated individual capable of motivating others.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 5 years previous electrical experience.
- Proven experience as a supervisor or similar relevant role.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations.
- 18th Edition, 2391 or equivalent (Desirable).
- SSSTS.
- Strong knowledge of electrical wiring systems.
What we’ll provide:
- 24 days holiday + bank holidays.
- Travel time paid from company office to site.
- Overtime opportunities, 1.5x weekdays and first 6 hours Saturday, 2x after and Sunday.
- Full uniform and PPE.
- Pay rate at £26ph.
