About the Role:
Our client is heavily reliant on their online traffic, via their ecommerce platform. The most essential background they are looking for is exposure (and success) at other ecommerce businesses. Hybrid for this role ideally means a 3/2 work pattern, with 3 days in the office. This is also negotiable but our client has a young team who would benefit from hands-on management. However, they are happy to look at more remote candidates with a looser pattern.
The role currently has two direct reports, one freelancer, and will be responsible for our external agencies (currently one but probably two by the time recruitment takes place). The direct reports are:
- Content marketer - responsible for our content and photography output
- Marketing assistant - website admin, social media, photography support, reporting
- Freelancer - email marketing
As their Marketing Manager you will lead and inspire the in-house marketing team across a diverse group of businesses. We are looking for someone who has experience in planning effective strategies that will drive growth. - Use creative and analytical skills to drive brand awareness.
- Analyse market trends and customer behaviour to inform strategy and identify new opportunities.
- Conduct data analysis, provide insights, and manage projects to support campaign optimisation.
- In conjunction with stakeholders produce ideas for promotional events or activities and ensure the events are organised efficiently.
- Serve as the main stakeholder liaison, ensuring aligned strategies and clear communication.
- Oversee the management of all social and digital media platforms for the company, including developing content plans in line with general strategy.
- Ownership of the optimisation of the business CRM system in conjunction with the CRM coordinator.
- Ensure all activities/campaigns are reported on, measured against agreed KPIs and adjusted as required.
- Maintain a unified marketing calendar, coordinating team efforts for seamless campaign execution.
- Guide the team in creating engaging campaigns with measurable results.
- Report insights and strategic recommendations to the Group Marketing Director.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years experience managing a marketing team.
- Strong understanding of multi-channel marketing strategies.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office programs for planning, analysis, and communication.
