Are you a 2nd line support professional looking for your next challenge? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading software logistics company that is seeking a skilled professional to support and enhance its IT infrastructure and IT network.
The role will suit someone at 2nd line support level of experience with approximately 2-3 years commercial technical experience. Keen to learn, and prepared to take on additional training/accreditations if need be. Someone who is familiar with working in smaller companies with a smallish technical environment (10-15 users).
You will play a key role in maintaining and improving the company's IT systems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across the business. You'll work on a mix of project-based tasks, from troubleshooting network issues to implementing new technologies that drive operational efficiency. This is a varied and hands-on role that will require some server cabling and wiring as well as hardware and software server setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain IT environment, including servers, networks, and cloud-based systems.
- Support operations by ensuring minimal downtime and high system reliability.
- Implement security best practices to protect company data and assets.
- Work on infrastructure upgrades and improvement projects.
