Welder Fabricator – Full Time – Cowes

Location: Cowes, Isle of Wight

Pay: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (Negotiable based on experience)

Hours: 40 hours per week (includes an Early Finish on Fridays) + Overtime available

The Role

We are looking for a skilled, experienced Welder Fabricator to join our workshop team. This is a hands‑on role requiring the ability to work independently and maintain a high level of technical proficiency across varied projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Fabrication: Taking projects from raw material through to finished product.
  • Welding: Primary focus on MIG welding (TIG or MMA/Stick experience is an advantage).
  • Technical: Working accurately from engineering drawings and site measurements.
  • Machinery: Safe operation of workshop plant and machinery.

What We Are Looking For

  • Essential Experience: A strong, proven background in structural and/or bespoke metal fabrication.
  • Technical Ability: The skill to interpret and work from technical drawings independently.
  • Workmanship: A high standard of welding and finishing; we take pride in clean, accurate work.
  • Qualifications: Relevant formal qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds/NVQ) are welcomed, but equivalent "time‑served" industry experience is equally valued.
  • Reliability: A hard‑working, professional attitude and a commitment to workshop safety.
