We are currently seeking a Newly Qualified Immigration Solicitor with experience in immigration and asylum law to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor looking to develop their career in a supportive and professional legal environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a caseload of immigration and asylum matters.
  • Advising clients on UK immigration issues including visa applications, asylum claims, family migration, and human rights applications.
  • Preparing and submitting applications and legal representations to the Home Office.
  • Drafting appeal bundles, witness statements, and legal submissions.
  • Representing clients at the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber), where appropriate.
  • Liaising with clients, the Home Office, courts, and other legal professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with professional standards.
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor in Scotland or England & Wales (Newly Qualified) or due to qualify soon.
  • Demonstrable experience in UK immigration and asylum law (through training contract, paralegal work, or legal practice).
  • Strong knowledge of UK Immigration Rules and procedures.
  • Excellent legal research, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage caseloads effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Strong client care and organisational skills.
  • Experience in asylum and human rights cases.
  • Advocacy experience at Immigration Tribunal.
  • Ability to speak additional languages.
