You will join a collaborative and people-oriented Legal Team that emphasizes work-life balance and long-term development. They are seeking a new Legal Counsel who is eager to learn and interested in leading as a business advisor, with regular interaction with internal stakeholders.
Role
The organisation is looking for a junior lawyer to join their Legal & Compliance team in a newly created role. You will provide commercial and regulatory support across the EMEALA region.
Primary Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate agreements including distribution agreements, rebate agreements, side letters, broker terms, and investment management agreements.
- Draft a variety of commercial contracts such as vendor agreements, NDAs, and marketing agreements.
- Advise on financial services regulations such as MIFID II, EMIR, UCITS, and AIFMD.
- Draft data processing agreements and privacy policies.
- Maintain contract databases and internal procedures.
- Assist the legal team in maintaining and expanding its know-how and precedents database.
- Liaise with outside counsel as needed.
- Provide legal support on ad hoc legal matters.
