PSV/HGV Mechanic – York

Salary up to £42,000 per annum + Overtime

Full Time | 40 hours per week (flexibility available)

We are recruiting for an experienced PSV/HGV Mechanic to join the engineering team of a leading UK bus operator based in York. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established workshop environment, maintaining a modern fleet to the highest DVSA standards. You'll be involved in all aspects of heavy vehicle maintenance, from planned inspections through to diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Carrying out routine servicing and planned maintenance inspections
  • Diagnosing faults and undertaking repairs on PSV/HGV vehicles
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with DVSA standards
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports on vehicle condition
