An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a leading UK transport operator as a PSV/HGV Nightshift Engineer, working across multiple depots in Glasgow. This is a permanent, full-time role offering strong earning potential, structured career development, and long-term stability within a forward-thinking engineering environment.
Key Details:
- Salary: £22.91 per hour
- Joining Bonus: £2,000 (paid in instalments, terms apply)
- Hours: 38 hours per week, with overtime available
- Shift Pattern: Nightshift (19:00 – 06:00), flexible patterns considered
- Location: Glasgow (multiple depots)
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs, servicing, and parts replacement on PSV/HGV vehicles
- Undertake routine inspections using diagnostic equipment and handheld systems
- Attend roadside breakdowns and carry out recovery where required
- Conduct road testing following repairs to ensure vehicles are safe and fully operational
Candidate Requirements:
- NVQ/SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent, e.g. City training can be provided)
