An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a leading UK transport operator as a PSV/HGV Nightshift Engineer, working across multiple depots in Glasgow. Key Details:

  • Salary: £22.91 per hour
  • Joining Bonus: £2,000 (paid in instalments, terms apply)
  • Hours: 38 hours per week, with overtime available
  • Shift Pattern: Nightshift (19:00 – 06:00), flexible patterns considered

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs, servicing, and parts replacement on PSV/HGV vehicles
  • Undertake routine inspections using diagnostic equipment and handheld systems
  • Attend roadside breakdowns and carry out recovery where required
  • Conduct road testing following repairs to ensure vehicles are safe and fully operational

Candidate Requirements:

  • NVQ/SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent, e.g. City & Guilds) in vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Experience in PSV, HGV, or heavy vehicle engineering preferred

  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work
