About the Role

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for delivering excellent service? We are looking for a proactive P2P Administrator to join our specialist team. As a P2P Administrator, you will be the heartbeat of our financial operations. You’ll ensure that our suppliers are paid accurately and on time while acting as a key point of contact for internal colleagues and external partners. This role isn’t just about data entry, it’s about investigating queries, managing relationships, and ensuring our financial controls are watertight.

Main Responsibilities

  • Payment Processing: Manage non-manual invoices, employee expenses, and credit card claims. You’ll handle everything from standard payments to CHAPS and foreign journals.
  • Query Resolution: Investigate and resolve supplier and customer queries via phone and email.
  • Financial Control: Perform regular supplier statement reconciliations and manage aged credit/debit items to keep our ledger healthy.
  • System Management: Upload credit card statements and import One bills, ensuring all data is captured within our Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Process Optimisation: Actively identify and suggest improvements to the P2P workflow to increase efficiency and reduce manual errors.
  • Compliance & Audit: Ensure all financial transactions and record-keeping strictly adhere to internal audit requirements and company policies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the wider business to ensure procedures are followed and contribute to a positive team culture.

About You

We value attitude and potential as much as experience. While a background in P2P is a plus, it isn’t a deal-breaker if you have the right skills:

  • Excellent telephony and written skills. You can explain complex info clearly and calmly.
  • The ability to hit tight deadlines and maintain high accuracy under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A harmonious approach to work and a commitment to personal professional development.

Essential Qualifications

  • GCSE Maths (Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent).
  • GCSE English (Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent).

Package Description

Our benefits package increases the longer you’ve been with us. Here’s what to expect:

  • 25 days’ holiday (increasing by 1 per year up to a total of 30).
  • Pension plan and life cover.
  • Discounts on online shopping, dining cards and vouchers, and access to our Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Plus much more...
