Job Introduction
You will be working alongside the Head Chef to manage daily kitchen activities, including overseeing staff, aiding with menu preparation, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stocking. Provides meal quality and consistency by following designed recipes.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in managing the kitchen team and food production
- Deputise for the Head Chef when absent or on leave
- Implement and maintain standards for food production, development and chef behaviours on site
- Deliver craft-based training and mentoring to the site based junior team
- Drive sales and profitability through implementing both individual and food-team initiatives
- Ensure our teams work in clean, safe and compliant working environments.
- Ensure standards for food presentation are maintained at all times
- Ensure food policy and strategy in areas such as allergen management are implemented and followed and food safety is proactively managed across the business.
- Support proactive client and customer relationships.
