We are seeking a passionate and innovative Fashion Bookings Editor to join the vibrant and high-performing team behind Britain's best-read women's magazine, with 1.3 million loyal readers every week. Please note this role is a full-time, office-based role, working from the DMG office in Kensington.
What you’ll be doing:
- Produce international and domestic fashion content for YOU magazine to include but not limited to team sourcing and booking, model/talent casting, location scouting, scheduling, accommodation, travel, prop sourcing/styling and crediting.
- Onsite producer role on shoot days as required.
- Managing fashion teams budgets income regularly liaising with financial department and Fashion Director.
- Invoice processing and financial projections.
- Work with Fashion Director and Advertising to manage and schedule all sponsored content, advertorials and collaborations.
- Regularly analyse the media landscape and competitor activity and keep team informed on any standout usage of models/celebrities/photographers etc.
- Manage fashion schedule and ensure print production deadlines are met.
- Contributing to creative brainstorming and feedback for all fashion content.
- Travel writer for Mail Online to support photoshoot opportunities.
- The overseeing of workflow for the department to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Attending press facing events and representing the YOU Magazine fashion department in the industry.
- Manage/circulating the fashion team press schedule.
- Managing LFW schedule/requests.
What you will bring:
- Strong contacts across the industry including but not limited to model agents, photographers, videographers, make-up artists, hair stylists, studios, set designers, prop houses and location agencies.
- Experience of international production, sourcing local producers and carnets/customs waivers, visas and the relevant permissions required to shoot abroad.
- Proven experience in magazines/bookings or an industry with closely related roles.
- Outstanding organizational and budget management skills.
- Ability to work well within a team and able to edit and communicate ideas effectively.
