The i Paper is seeking a freelance Audience Writer to join our newsroom as we expand our efforts to engage new readers. This is a newly created role that blends writing with visually led content curation, requiring a talent for crafting original material and existing journalism. You will pitch daily story ideas based on trends and performance data and create content across a wide range of topics for various platforms. Working closely with the Audience team, you will contribute to a busy newsroom with fresh and engaging content. This position offers a unique chance to develop expertise in audience engagement while supporting The i Paper's mission of providing non‐partisan reporting and intelligent opinion.
