Hours: 40 hours/week β Monday to Friday
Location: Derry Street, HSK, London
Role Purpose
- To carry out kitchen tasks set for you by your head chef / sous chef
- To collect deliveries, clean and stock kitchen and restaurant
- To assist with cleaning duties in an effective and friendly manner
- To maintain DMG Media standards of food safety & cleanliness
- To represent DMG Media ideals at all times
Main Responsibilities
- Washing restaurant and kitchen equipment
- Checking deliveries and assisting with stock take as required
- Thoroughly clean at all times and ensure routine cleaning is complete
- Assisting at other local units if needed
HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT
- Follow DMG Media policies and procedures at all times
- Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment
- Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received
- Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager.
Person Specification
- An understanding of food preparation methods
- A love of food & a desire to learn more
- Good communication skills, good time keeper
- Thorough & effective in cleaning tasks
- A friendly attitude towards colleagues and customer.
