About the Role

We are looking for a HR Systems Analyst to champion Workday. We are looking for someone to support the ongoing development of the system to fully utilise our Workday suite of products: HCM, Payroll, Absence, Learning & Performance and Time Tracking. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Global HR Systems Team. The Workday system spans across DMGT’s diverse portfolio, making this a very exciting opportunity. This team will support our Operating Companies which are geographically spread across the UK, USA and multiple other geographies.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide functional and technical support, identify and troubleshoot system problems raised by our businesses using JIRA
  • Recommend and plan future developments to the system when you see the opportunity for operational improvement
  • Act as a specialised techno-functional analyst and potentially lead assigned HR system projects and initiatives
  • You will ensure data integrity including quality, accuracy, security, and usability of employee data
  • Participate in reviewing, planning, testing and implementing system upgrades and patches

Person Specification

  • Extensive experience supporting Workday HCM with a focus on Integrations, Time Tracking and Reporting
  • Confident with advising on systems excellence
  • Logical thinker with excellent communication skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive attitude, someone willing to independently manage their workload and be active with researching, sourcing and speaking to lots of candidates
  • A self-motivated individual who can motivate themselves during remote working

Desired technical experience:

  • Practical experience configuring business processes and custom reports
  • A knowledge of Workday’s security model
  • Ability to load EIBs
  • Experience of at least 1 Workday release cycle
