About The Role
The analyst’s role is to understand and document business processes supported by thorough analysis of business requirements using industry standard tools and techniques. This particular project will be focussed on the replacement of our existing order management systems (for print and for digital), with the aim of consolidating into a single solution. This project will involve working across many dmg::media brands and products. This is a collaborative environment in which you will have a strong input and the opportunity to build experience and responsibilities across the business.
Main Responsibilities
- Review, analyse and evaluate business processes and user needs.
- Document requirements, define scope and objectives.
- Help the business prioritise requirements and deliver accordingly.
- Work closely with project and product managers, engineering, and QA teams to ensure business and technical requirements are fully documented and understood.
- Ensure quality, all requirements are defined, tested and signed off.
- Communicate on progress, risks, and issues as required.
- Assisting with test scenarios.
Person Specification
- Previous experience of at least 3 years in similar position at being hands-on and leading people and process.
- Experience of both agile and waterfall delivery.
- Experience working on similar sized projects.
- Hands on experience running stand ups, sprint planning & retrospectives.
- Previous experience in Media or Publications a real advantage.
