The Mission
DMG New Media is building a new kind of media business – social-first, creator-led, and built for the next generation. With over 150M+ followers and billions of monthly views, we operate a growing network of brands across news, entertainment, sport, money, lifestyle, and more. We’re now looking for a Social Media Manager to define, build, and scale DMG New Media itself – shaping how we show up, what we create, and how we’re understood internally and externally.
The Role
You will run our @dmgnewmedia Instagram and TikTok channels, building our audience and showcasing the work we do. You will turn our business into a destination that talent wants to be a part of and brands want to partner with. You will sit at the heart of the business, working with leadership, creators, and commercial teams to turn DMG New Media into a recognisable, culturally relevant brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the identity, voice, and positioning of @dmgnewmedia.
- Lead the creation of high-quality, social-first content with our roster of creators and world-class talent.
- Coordinate with our videographers, editors, and in-house talent.
- Own the IG and TikTok presence initially, with opportunities to expand and build @dmgnewmedia on other platforms, including LinkedIn and a @dmgnewmedia website.
- Ensure content is high quality, the hooks are sharp, and the final edit is viral-worthy.
- Ensure our personality is consistent across social, PR, and industry partnerships.

- Proven experience creating content that actually cuts through on major platforms.
- Ability to translate complex business wins into simple, compelling narratives.
- Comfortable working alongside leadership and creators.

Package Description

- 25 days’ holiday (increasing by 1 per year up to a total of 30)
