DailyMail+ is just about to reach its second birthday, live across UK, US and Australia we’re one of the fastest growing media subscriptions globally with ambitious plans over the next few years to make DailyMail+ one of the largest media subscription brands in the world.
We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Performance Marketer / Paid Media expert to come in and make a real impact on the future of DailyMail+. This role will have ownership of our Paid Media strategy, test and learn programme, and activation. You’ll be a subject-matter expert who will lead the development, execution and growth of our paid media function in the business, innovating and optimising as we grow.

Main Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to grow the DailyMail+ Paid Media strategy globally driving both volume and value by attracting high quality subscriptions. There’s a huge opportunity to scale our activity in the US and Australia.
- Initially this is a hands-on role responsible for the activation and optimisation of Search and Social.
- Develop a robust test and learn strategy that puts focus on mastering every region we operate in.
- Collaborate with our site specialists to build market-leading user journeys from off-site to on-site.
- Work with our Editorial and Brand teams to amplify our journalism to new audiences.
Person Specification
- A performance media expert, confident in both activation and overall strategy across search and social.
- Has demonstrable experience of scaling paid media on social and/or search in a commercially viable manner balancing growth with efficiency.
- Effortless confident communicator that can translate complex information into digestible updates to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Great collaborator, we’re a growing team so expect to work closely with all our support teams.
- Strong analytical mind to explore, understand, and draw learnings from large data sets.
- Strong Presentation Skills whether to wider team or leadership.
- Experienced at managing external agencies.
- Bonus but not mandatory experience in ATL media (DRTV, DOOH, Audio, Influencer).
- Bonus but not mandatory experience running media internationally (US, Australia).
