About The Role
We are looking for an experienced candidate to lead the fashion, beauty & lifestyle content teams. This is a unique opportunity to manage the output of first-of-their-kind creator brands, within one of the biggest news publishers in the world. Responsible for producing best‑in‑class social content, the right candidate will have proven experience leading a social‑first team and will be responsible for content and audience growth across the brands to ensure all editorial, audience and commercial requirements are met.
Our existing brands are:
- Eliza - the UK’s fastest-growing fashion and beauty social publisher that inspires Millennial and Gen Z women to shop the best of the high street
- YOU Social - the go‑to destination for 40+ women seeking empowering fashion, lifestyle and beauty expertise
We have big plans to expand our lifestyle output and the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bringing those plans to life.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth day‑to‑day operation of editorial for Eliza, YOU and new channels within the lifestyle vertical
- Manage all the editorial output, ensuring content is best‑in‑class and aligns with brand, audience and business objectives
- Work closely with the commercial team to fulfil client briefs, ensure flawless execution of commercial campaigns, and deliver on revenue targets
- Define and lead the overall editorial vision, in collaboration with senior leaders, strategy and tone of voice across all our platforms including social and newsletters
- Use performance metrics, audience insights and market trends to guide decisions
- Report on editorial KPIs and targets
- Identify opportunities for growth, efficiency and innovation across the business
Person Specification
- Proven experience managing a team
- Proven experience of setting and executing editorial strategy across multiple platforms
- Strong understanding of media/social business models (social platforms, partnerships, licensing etc)
- Innovative mindset and a desire to develop an industry‑leading business
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and decision‑making skills
