About the Role
We are seeking a confident, process-driven Contract Administrator to manage and optimise our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform, Ironclad. In this role, you will serve as the operational backbone for our pre- and post-signature contracting processes across the business. You will bridge knowledge gaps, train internal contract champions, safeguard contract metadata and ensure strict compliance across NDAs, new vendor agreements, renewals and terminations. Your primary objective is to maintain contractual data integrity, create a seamless, self-serve contracting environment and drive automation wherever possible.
Main Responsibilities
- Repository & Data Management: Maintain a searchable central contract repository. Enforce strict data governance, metadata tagging, naming conventions, and access permissions.
- CLM Platform Administration: Act as the primary functional administrator for Ironclad. Optimise signature processes and digital workflows while ensuring alignment with Legal and Procurement governance.
- Enablement & Training: Serve as the central point of contact for internal business users. Deliver clear guidance and training to upskill contract champions, eliminating single-point dependencies and driving self-serve adoption.
- Milestone & Renewal Tracking: Monitor critical lifecycle dates (notice periods, auto-renewals, price escalations, and terminations). Issue automated 90/60/30-day alerts to business owners to prevent unintended auto-renewals and support timely renegotiations.
- Vendor Onboarding Support: Review ways of streamlining supplier onboarding, ensuring NDAs, MSAs and Statements of Work (SOWs) are accurately mapped to enterprise systems.
- Reporting & Insights: Build and maintain custom dashboards to track contract volume, operational bottlenecks and cycle times for key stakeholders.
- Process Optimisation & Automation: Proactively audit workflows within and around the CLM tool. Automate manual administrative tasks to streamline overall contract cycle times.
Person Specification
- CLM Expertise: Hands-on experience administering CLM systems (preferably Ironclad).
- Data Integrity: Exceptional attention to detail with proven experience managing bulk contract data and enterprise repositories.
- Legal Operations & Commercial Awareness: Solid understanding of common commercial contract structures (NDAs, MSAs, SOWs) and standard procurement negotiation lifecycles.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to collaborate effectively across a variety of senior business stakeholders.
- Process Improvement Mindset: Demonstrated ability to convert complex manual processes into scalable, automated workflows.
