  • Conduct regular face-to-face and virtual meetings with existing and prospective customers (3 per week)
  • Understand clients’ business objectives and recommend effective advertising solutions that deliver against their goals.
  • Pitch and present advertising proposals to business owners and key decision-makers.
  • Develop compelling commercial proposals and negotiate opportunities through to close.
  • Drive new revenue into the portfolio by upselling, cross-selling and introducing new advertising products and solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advertising partner.
  • Take ownership of individual revenue targets, consistently achieving and exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual objectives.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and ensure opportunities are actively progressed through the sales cycle.
  • Prospect proactively through a combination of networking, referrals, outbound activity and local market knowledge.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure excellent campaign delivery and customer experience.
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline, revenue performance and future opportunities.

  • A strong track record of winning new business and delivering against revenue targets.
  • Confident communicating with SME owners, senior decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation, pitching and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive, target-driven approach with a genuine appetite for winning new business.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to turn prospects into long-term customers.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into compelling advertising solutions.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated and comfortable managing your own diary, pipeline and regional territory.
  • A resilient and persistent approach to sales, with the ability to identify opportunities and close deals.
