The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.

This role sits at the heart of our flagship energy events’ year-round conference programme. As a Conference Producer, you will lead on all stages of the conference lifecycle across three programmes: from developing session abstracts and shaping editorial content, to managing speaker relationships and coordinating closely with industry stakeholders. You will join a team of four producers and report to the Senior Conference Director, working alongside colleagues across sales, marketing and operations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Conference Production
    • Liaising with conference speakers/moderators and their communication teams for placement on the agenda.
    • Conduct in-depth research to feed into the creation of a Conference message house, build key strategic themes and develop programme agendas.
    • Work with industry stakeholders, advisory boards and validated industry sources.
    • Join sponsorship calls and meetings with existing and potential clients where necessary.
    • Ensure that the conference agenda is at the highest level of commercial viability for both sponsorship and delegate sales.
    • Recruit highly esteemed leading experts, industry representatives, regulators, government representatives, and other relevant speakers to your programme faculty.
    • Research and provide strategic information required to go to market, including detailed information on the target market both in terms of sector and geographic markets, relevant industry associations and publications, and competitive events.
    • Attend industry conferences to promote the conference, gather market intelligence, and to network with potential speakers and delegates to establish and maintain relationships pre- and post-conference.
    • Work closely with the Marketing team to promote the conference agendas including feeding into social posts and EDMs, and proofing brochures and assets.
  • Conference Project Management
    • Maintain close links with management to ensure that they are kept up to date with the status of events; prepare and send weekly reports as appropriate.
    • Work closely with the operations team to ensure delivery of a first-class on-site conference experience for attendees.
    • Help with the required administrative jobs where needed.
    • Ensure programmes are kept up to date and conference updates are reflected across conference collateral including website and brochures.
    • Travel nationally and internationally to conferences and on-site project and team management to ensure the successful, high-quality delivery of customer services and event experience to delegates and speakers.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • You have experience in developing high-quality conference programmes, with hands-on experience managing the full content lifecycle from the research phase to on-site delivery.
  • You can manage multiple sub-programmes and feature agendas simultaneously, keeping quality and momentum across each.
  • You understand how content strategy connects to commercial outcomes and can contribute meaningfully to marketing and sales campaigns.
