About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4
  • Prepare, deliver, and assess work in line with national curriculum standards
  • Support students' progress and encourage interest in coding and technology
  • Contribute to the continued development of the Computer Science department and wider school community
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities, such as coding clubs and competitions

Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related subject
  • Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level
  • Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of current curriculum
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
