Salary: Up to £13.50 per hour + £60 per sleep-in

Contract: Full Time | Permanent | 40 hours per week

DMD Partners are working in partnership with a forward thinking residential children\’s care provider to recruit a Residential Childcare Worker for their home in Bury, Greater Manchester.

The home is registered to provide care and support for up to three children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. As part of a passionate and supportive team, you will help create a safe, nurturing environment where young people can feel secure, valued, and empowered to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people
• Support their emotional, social, and behavioural development
• Ensure their safety and well-being at all times
• Work proactively as part of a close-knit team
• Participate in activities, routines, and day-to-day tasks that promote independence

What we are looking for:

• Experience working with children in a residential care setting
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work
• Passion, empathy, and resilience

Working Hours:

Typical shifts run from 10am to 11pm, followed by a sleep-in, then 7am to 10:30am the following morning.
