DMD Partners are working in partnership with a respected children's residential and education provider to recruit a dedicated Deputy Manager to join their well-established therapeutic home in Buxton. This 12-week placement service supports up to two children at a time, offering trauma-informed care, education, and outdoor adventure.
As Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards. The role involves team leadership, oversight of care plans, and ensuring a nurturing environment that promotes positive outcomes for the children.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- 2+ years in children's residential care (at least 1 year in a leadership role)
- Good working knowledge of Ofsted and safeguarding standards and regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- A passion for the outdoors (activity experience desirable)
