Description
As a consultant dermatologist at DMC, you will work autonomously and be responsible for providing specialist dermatological medical services to our patient population. This involves delivering an excellent standard of clinical care in dermatology while adhering to the (GMS/PMS/APMS) contract. You will also comply with the GMC standards for good medical practice and contribute to the effective management of the practice, particularly in dermatological care, while maintaining a positive relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
Main duties and responsibilities
Primary Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality medical care with an emphasis on dermatology to those entitled.
- Providing specialised dermatological services in accordance with the (GMS/PMS/APMS) agreement.
- Treating a range of skin conditions, including complex and chronic dermatological issues.
- Engaging in dermatology clinics and offering expert guidance to general practitioners.
- Managing dermatological administrative duties, such as referrals and skin-related medication management.
- Performing dermatological procedures and surgeries as necessary.
- Maintaining precise and comprehensive clinical records for dermatological treatments.
