This role is for any entry-level engineer (0-3 years of experience) looking for a position in 2027. We have an exceptional onboarding and training program to help align your skillset with our technical offerings.
Responsibilities:
- All engineers at DMC focus on programming and software solutions, such as:
- Controls programming including food and beverage processing and packaging, automotive assembly lines, and packaging machinery controls
- Design and develop automated test systems using LabVIEW, TestStand, C#, and Python for a variety of industries and applications, including EV battery, aerospace and rocket, turnkey, and cloud-enabled test and measurement systems
- Consult with clients on status updates, maintaining positive rapport while addressing requests
- Travel to customer manufacturing sites for solution commissioning, including troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
- Collaborate with project teams of varying sizes and experience levels
- Assist senior engineers in scoping, estimating, and proposing new projects
- Manage tasks with project teams, prioritising needs and addressing risks and roadblocks
- Develop and grow leadership skills
Note: 25-50% travel is required for some positions, with additional benefits for higher travel commitment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Minimum GPA of 3.4
- Interest and ability to program in text-based languages and object-oriented concepts
- Quick learner with a strong desire for continuous improvement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal and external collaboration
