Role

The role requires building, leading and developing a high‑performing commercial team within a growing service‑led organisation. The candidate will own a newly formed sales function, drive business growth, improve sales performance, and create a strong commercial culture across field sales, account management and telesales operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a newly established sales team including BDMs, Account Managers and Telesales Executives.
  • Drive sales performance through coaching, performance management, and clear commercial strategy.
  • Develop and monitor sales plans, pipeline activity and forecasting accuracy to support business growth.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and support long‑term customer retention and revenue growth.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to improve lead generation, CRM management and sales processes.
  • Manage performance reviews and coach team members.
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Coordinate with marketing to support lead generation activity.
  • Present forecasts and performance updates to senior management.
  • Ensure the CRM system is updated with accurate information.
  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding of new sales staff.
  • Implement sales processes that support consistent execution.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3‑5 years’ experience within a Sales Management role.
  • Strong leadership background managing field sales, account management and telesales teams.
  • Experience within FM, Logistics, Waste Management or other service‑led sectors highly desirable.
  • Commercially driven with strong pipeline management, forecasting and reporting capability.
  • Motivated, energetic and capable of building and developing high‑performing teams.
