Are you an experienced MRF / Waste Transfer Manager with a track record in managing profitable operations? My client is one of the largest regional commercial waste management and recycling companies seeking an Experienced MRF Manager.
The role:
- Responsible for safe and efficient running of waste management and recycling within the waste transfer station.
- Controlling production input and output, ensuring processes run smoothly and managing expectations (outputs include crushed concrete, brick, soil, etc).
- On-site Health & safety monitoring and ensuring compliance with legislation.
- Controlling budgets and attending meetings.
- Direct interface with clients to assist with the resolution of customer concerns.
- Work to improve site layout and operations.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Must possess: current WAMTAB, IOSH, Machine Tickets, DVLC.
- Strong commercial understanding of waste recycling.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety policies and procedures.
- Self-motivated as well as a good motivator.
