Commercial Lead | Social Value
Location: Oxford (Hybrid flexibility) National with on-site presence as and when needed
Salary: £40,000 £50,000 depending on experience
Our client is a values-driven organisation delivering real impact across communities through purpose-led commercial initiatives. Theyre now looking for a Commercial Lead to play a pivotal role in strengthening and expanding their social value strategysomeone who can blend relationship-building with commercial thinking to drive meaningful, measurable change.
The Role
As Commercial Lead, youll be the connector between the business and its communitiescreating and nurturing relationships with schools, colleges, charities, and local organisations to enhance the social value offering. You'll work cross-functionally to embed social value into contracts, projects, and growth plans, while also championing success stories through marketing and comms.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading partnerships and initiatives that deliver measurable community impact
- Integrating social value priorities into wider business development efforts
- Reporting on social outcomes and identifying areas for growth
- Collaborating with internal teams to promote and share impact externally
The Ideal Candidate
Were looking for someone commercially savvy with a heart for community. You may already work in social value, or you might bring a strong background in stakeholder engagement and a genuine passion for impact-led work.
Youll need:
- Experience building strong relationships with external stakeholders
- Confidence influencing at all levels internally and externally
- The ability to design, deliver, and report on strategy and impact
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A strong understanding (or interest) in social value and its role in organisational growth
