The Role:
- Managing a large workforce, operations, and people as the business grows at a fast rate.
- Operations - ensure the commercial performance of the contract, overseeing all expenditure, staffing, and resources.
- Leadership - managing a diverse workforce, leading the team, and maintaining a visible presence for employees encouraging good working relationships within a unionised environment.
- Financials - managing the contract budget through effective cost control.
- Health & Safety - responsible for the safety at the depot and the safety of the vehicles and drivers, IOSH qualified, ideally NEBOSH qualified.
About You:
We are seeking a visionary leader who can transform strategies into action and inspire teams to perform at their best. You should have:
- IOSH Managing Safely certification.
- Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification (or equivalent experience).
- A strong background in business acumen and operational management.
- Financial management expertise, with experience in producing and presenting financial models and business plans.
- Transport Manager CPC.
- A passion for leading high-performing teams and driving transformation and change.
