Experienced Sales Manager required to build, lead and develop a high-performing commercial team within a growing service-led organisation. Our client is looking for a dynamic and commercially driven Sales Manager to take ownership of a newly formed sales function. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys building successful teams from the ground up.
You will play a key role in driving business growth, improving sales performance and creating a strong commercial culture across field sales, account management and telesales operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a newly established sales team including BDMs, Account Managers and Telesales Executives.
- Drive sales performance through effective coaching, performance management and clear commercial strategy.
- Develop and monitor sales plans, pipeline activity and forecasting accuracy to support business growth.
- Build strong relationships with clients and support long-term customer retention and revenue growth.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to improve lead generation, CRM management and sales processes.
Key Duties may include:
- Lead and motivate sales teams to achieve targets.
- Develop sales plans and monitor pipeline activity.
- Manage performance reviews and coach team members.
- Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Coordinate with marketing to support lead generation activity.
- Build relationships with clients.
- Present forecasts and performance updates to senior management.
- Ensure the CRM system is updated with accurate information.
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding of new sales staff.
- Implement sales processes that support consistent execution.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience within a Sales Management role.
- Strong leadership background managing field sales, account management and telesales teams.
- Experience within FM, Logistics, Waste Management or other service-led sectors highly desirable.
- Commercially driven with strong pipeline management, forecasting and reporting capability.
- Motivated, energetic and capable of building and developing high-performing teams.
