DMA Midlands Limited, based in the West Midlands, specializes in the design, manufacturing, and assembly of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum fabrications. Operating under ISO 9001 standards, we deliver high-quality products for a wide range of industries, including wastewater, automotive, aerospace, structural steelwork, and architectural steelwork. Our experienced team excels in bespoke assemblies, prototype development, and coded welding services (MIG, TIG, and MMA) tailored to diverse applications.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Steel Fabricator, based in our Wednesbury facility. The Steel Fabricator will be responsible for crafting high-quality stainless components using a variety of tools and techniques. Key day-to-day tasks include:

  • TIG welding
  • Pulse welding
  • Cutting, rolling, and assembling metal parts to create products that comply with relevant industry standards

The role also involves maintaining the tools and ensuring that all work adheres to safety and quality protocols. Close collaboration with the team to meet project deadlines is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Metalworking and familiarity with welding techniques
  • Strong skills in using Hand Tools and operating Power Tools effectively and safely
  • Experience in Grinding and finishing metal to precise specifications
  • Proficiency in Forklift Operation for moving and positioning materials or assemblies
  • Good understanding of safety procedures and quality compliance standards, including ISO 9001 and BS EN 1090 Class 2
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or a similar field is preferred
