HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver (26t) – Newcastle\\n\\nSalary: Circa £38,000 + bonus (up to 15%)\\nHours: 48 hours per week (including breaks)\\nLocation: Newcastle\\n\\nWe are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver to join a busy transport operation based in Newcastle. This is a key, customer-facing role, ideal for a professional driver who takes pride in their work and enjoys being out on the road delivering a reliable, high-quality service.\\n\\nAs a 26t Collection Driver, you’ll play an important part in ensuring collections are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with service level agreements.\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\n * \\n\\n Carry out collections from residential and commercial locations as directed by the transport team\\n\\n * \\n\\n Safely load, secure, and transport materials to designated waste transfer stations\\n\\n * \\n\\n Complete multiple collections per shift, managing time effectively\\n\\n * \\n\\n Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ensure all documentation and administration is completed accurately at point of collection\\n\\n * \\n\\n Deliver excellent customer service and handle on-site queries professionally\\n\\n * \\n\\n Liaise with the transport team regarding delays, issues, or failed collections\\n\\n * \\n\\n Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and presentation\\n\\n * \\n\\n Operate vehicles safely, courteously, and in full compliance with road traffic laws, driver hours, and working time regulations\\n\\n * \\n\\n Follow all health & safety procedures, including correct use of PPE\\n\\nWhat We’re Looking For\\n\\n * \\n\\n Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence\\n\\n * \\n\\n Driver CPC and DQC card\\n\\n * \\n\\n HIAB / ALLMI certification\\n\\n * \\n\\n Clean DBS check\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong attention to detail, particularly with vehicle checks and paperwork\\n\\n * \\n\\n Calm and adaptable approach in a fast-paced, changeable environment\\n\\n * \\n\\n Confident communicator with a professional, customer-focused attitude\\n\\nWhat’s On Offer\\n\\n * \\n\\n Competitive salary of circa £38,000\\n\\n * \\n\\n Performance-related bonus of up to 15%\\n\\n * \\n\\n Stable, full-time role within a well-established transport operation\\n\\n * \\n\\n Supportive management and clear communication from the transport team\\n\\nIf you’re a reliable Class 2 HIAB Driver looking for a secure role with good earning potential in Newcastle, we’d love to hear from you.\\n\\n👉 Apply today to find out more
