We are currently supporting a large, complex operational organisation that is going through a significant transformation programme and investing heavily in its Health & Safety function. As part of this investment, they are looking to appoint a Health & Safety Co-Ordinator on an initial 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension. This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation that is strengthening its safety culture and building out its H&S team, with further H&S hires planned.

The Health & Safety Co-Ordinator will support day-to-day safety operations across a multi-service environment, helping to ensure strong compliance, proactive risk management, and a positive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct workplace inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards
  • Support the organisation in maintaining compliance with health and safety legislation
  • Prepare and maintain risk assessments, incident reports, and safety documentation
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and preventative actions
  • Deliver safety inductions and training where required
  • Promote and support a positive health and safety culture across operational teams
About You
  • Experience working in a Health & Safety role within an operational environment
  • Confident conducting risk assessments and site inspections
  • Good knowledge of UK health & safety legislation
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence safety behaviours
  • Relevant H&S qualification (NEBOSH or equivalent preferred)
