The Opportunity
Our client is a successful Total Waste Management business operating across the South West. They are looking for an Internal Sales Executive to join their sales team in Bristol, Gloucestershire, Cheltenham and Bath to help drive new business across the region. Our client is not a call centre. They are looking for a driven, forward thinking individual who can multi-task and work in a busy sales office where the activity is generated by you and the rest of the team.
You will be responsible for outgoing sales, and you will also handle incoming sales enquiries.
The Role
- Making outbound calls to prospective business customers
- Taking inbound and web enquiries and converting them into sales
- Generating and qualifying new sales opportunities
- Identifying customer requirements and recommending suitable solutions
- Building relationships with decision makers
- Following up leads and maintaining your pipeline
- Preparing quotes and closing new business
- Passing larger opportunities to the field sales team where appropriate
- Processing orders accurately and keeping the CRM up to date
You will be selling a broad Total Waste Management proposition, including general and food waste, recycling, confidential shredding and other commercial waste services.
About You
We are looking for someone who enjoys sales and winning new business. Waste experience is not essential. We are open to people from any relevant B2B service-led sales or customer service environment, including:

Relevant backgrounds could include Internal Sales Executive, Telesales Executive, Inside Sales Executive, Sales Executive, Business Development Executive or Customer Service Advisor with a strong sales element. You will need to be confident on the phone, commercially driven, resilient and able to handle objections and rejection well.
