Experienced Operations Manager required to lead large-scale frontline service teams across a busy, high-profile contract. My client is only interested in individuals that have genuine drive and desire to build successful teams and services and who want to grow with them. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong operational leader who thrives in a fast-moving, people-focused role.

You will be responsible for driving consistency, improving deployment, supporting frontline managers and ensuring essential services are delivered effectively across the region.

The Role:

  • Lead and support a team of Operational Supervisors overseeing a large frontline workforce.
  • Manage day-to-day operational delivery across all services.
  • Make key judgement calls around priorities, scheduling, deployment and reactive service demands.
  • Drive consistency, performance and accountability across a large unionised workforce.
  • Support planning and improvement activity in a challenging, high-volume operational environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong operations management/contract management experience leading large frontline or field-based teams.
  • Excellent man-management, leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Background in street running complex operations, waste, FM, environmental services, logistics, transport, military or similar operational environments.
  • Confident working with reactive priorities, workforce planning and operational deployment.
  • Resilient, consistent and able to lead effectively in a unionised or complex workforce setting.
