Contract: GBP600/day Permanent: GBP70,000

We re looking for an experienced Health & Safety professional to lead H&S strategy across fleet, waste management, grounds maintenance, and street cleansing. This is a high–impact role, perfect for someone passionate about embedding a culture of safety excellence and driving strategic change.

What you\’ll do:

• Lead and develop the Health & Safety strategy across multiple operational areas.
• Embed a strong culture of safety excellence throughout the organisation.
• Drive strategic initiatives that improve safety performance and compliance.
• Provide expert advice and support to operational teams.

What we\’re looking for:

• Background in waste management, facilities management, or local government.
• IOSH/CMIOSH chartered membership or equivalent.
• Proven experience driving H&S improvements and leading teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence at all levels.
