My client is a leader in the waste and recycling industry, operating a large and complex fleet that plays a critical role in delivering essential services. As part of an ongoing programme of investment and transformation, they are seeking a Head of Fleet to provide strategic leadership across fleet, plant, and asset management.
This is a senior, influential role with responsibility for shaping long-term fleet strategy, driving compliance and operational excellence, and accelerating the transition to sustainable, low-carbon fleet solutions.
The Role
- Lead and deliver a future-focused fleet strategy across acquisition, lifecycle, and maintenance
- Oversee fleet procurement and major capital investment programmes
- Ensure full compliance with transport legislation and operator licensing requirements
- Manage capital budgets for fleet replacement.
- Establish performance metrics to evaluate procurement effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee fleet maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
