We are now looking to expand our team with a dedicated Health & Safety / CDM Advisor to support our house building clients in the East Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a FTSE 100 client and contribute to an industry-leading safety culture.
The Role
Reporting to the Construction Services Director, you will provide proactive HSE support across multiple residential construction sites. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting regular site inspections and support visits
- Offering technical HSE guidance to site management teams
- Performing monthly compliance checks and audits
- Attending and contributing to monthly HSE meetings
- Supporting the client’s regional HSE advisor
- Investigating incidents and accidents
- Delivering in-house training to operatives and management
- Building strong, trust-based relationships with site teams
- Participating in external inspections with Principal Contractors and Clients

What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate
- UK-based construction/house building experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Available to start immediately
Desirable:
- Minimum 5 years in a similar HSE advisory role
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage your own diary and workload efficiently
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Confident in producing detailed, timely reports
- Willingness to travel across the region (occasional overnight stays required)
