Opus Vitae are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a fantastic business based in Oswestry. Our client is searching for an experienced engineer to join the workshop team. As part of the team, you will complete weekly maintenance schedules, preventative maintenance inspections, scheduled & unscheduled maintenance repairs & servicing.

Monday to Friday, 45 hours a week on days. Salary - £40,000 - £45,000.

The Role

  • Complete visual equipment checks for line machinery.
  • Frequent checks on equipment to ensure less breakdowns.
  • Ensuring all documentation for both preventive & emergency maintenance is carried out.
  • Assist with general building maintenance.
  • Any further duties required.

Requirements

  • Must be qualified to 18th Edition for IEE Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018) & ideally will hold City & Guilds inspection & testing of electrical installations.
  • Experience within a manufacturing industry & holding both diagnostic & problem-solving skills.
  • Experience of control panel building & PLC programming desirable, but not essential.
  • Full clean driving licence.
