DM Recruitment are currently looking for 7.5 tonne driver/loaders to work for a very well-known waste company in the Macclesfield SK10 area.
Pay: £13.89
Hours: 6:00am-2:00pm
Days: Mon-Fri/Occasional Sunday getting the Friday off
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle on planned collection and delivery routes.
- Load and unload bins onto the vehicle, ensuring correct handling at all times.
- Assist with manual handling duties, including moving and positioning bins.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issues.
- Ensure bins are collected and transported in line with company procedures.
- Follow all health & safety guidelines and safe working practices.
- Maintain accurate route and collection records.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy.
Requirements:
- Valid 7.5 tonne (Category C1) driving licence.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks.
- Good understanding of road safety and safe working practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
