Operating out of our Leeds Skelton Grange depot, you will play a vital role in our operations, ensuring the seamless movement of waste containers while giving our clients total peace of mind and an excellent first impression.
What Youll Be Doing
- Service Delivery: Responsibly collect, exchange, and deliver waste bins and containers from customer sites safely, effectively, and efficiently.
- Compliance & Tech: Carry out thorough daily vehicle safety checks, report defects promptly, and ensure company vehicles are kept in excellent condition.
- Admin & Data: Complete all necessary delivery paperwork, report daily, and maintain strict compliance with Data Protection and GDPR throughout all activities.
Working Hours & Shift Pattern
- Days: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays on a rotational basis.
- Early morning starts, typically starting around 05:00 AM until finish.
Experience
- A full, clean UK driving licence (Category B).
- Previous experience in a multi-drop delivery or collection environment is preferred. A strong geographical knowledge of the local area is a major plus.
- A strong work ethic with a practical, 'hands-on' approach is required, as the role involves manual handling and the movement of commercial containers.
- Any background working outdoors is a distinct positive.
- You are flexible, value safety, and thrive in a role that balances independent driving with great customer interaction.
