We have opportunities for both Trade Waste and Skip drivers. Enjoy consistent Monday-Friday shifts, with a 15-minute paid break and the option to earn extra via overtime.
Trade Waste: Starts at 5 am, finishing between 1 pm - 2:30 pm.
Skips: Starts at 6 am, finishing between 4 pm - 4:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles for Trade Waste or Skip collections.
- Plan efficient routes to maximise productivity and minimise environmental impact.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring sites are tidy and bins/skips are correctly positioned.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
- Adhere to waste duty of care regulations, drivers hours, and health/safety standards.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 2 licence + current Driver CPC.
- Digital tachograph card.
- Previous experience in waste sector operations (Trade or Skip experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of environmental compliance and safety.
- Customer-focused communication skills.
- Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
