As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with the responsibility of overseeing the efficient running of our workshop operations. Main Duties: Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles. Effectively test, diagnose, and resolve any vehicle issues. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timelines. Employ a right first time approach to maximise efficiency and customer satisfaction. Clearly explain work and repairs to both colleagues and customers. Supervise day-to-day operations within the workshop, ensuring productivity and workflow are maintained. Lead and motivate a team of technicians, providing support, training, and guidance as needed. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workshop environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Monitor stock levels for tools and parts, ensuring availability and timely replenishment. Liaise with management to provide updates on workshop performance and identify areas for improvement. Deliver 100% customer satisfaction through quality workmanship and professional service. Essential Criteria: Minimum of 2 years qualified experience. NVQ Level 3 or above in a relevant automotive field. Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and responsibly. Proven ability to supervise and lead a team effectively.
