Due to continuing sustained growth, we are looking to expand our Transport Planning & Infrastructure team in Sheffield and are seeking enthusiastic, skilled and forward-thinking Transport Planners at all levels to join our thriving office. The Transport & Infrastructure (T&I) team provide a range of transport planning, traffic engineering and infrastructure design services to support development proposals all around the UK. You will play a key role in delivering a wide range of transport planning projects for public and private sector clients.

Depending on your level, you will contribute to or lead tasks such as:

  • Site appraisals and site promotion
  • Transport assessments and statements
  • Travel plans and sustainable mobility strategies
  • Junction and network modelling
  • Development planning and infrastructure planning
  • Data analysis, forecasting and reporting
  • Stakeholder engagement and client communication

You should have good interpersonal communication and relationship management skills and have the ability to manage and prioritise projects on a day-to-day basis. We are looking for candidates who are well motivated and ready to get involved in key projects, instilling high standards of work and building up good, strong client relationships. We are looking at experience across a number of levels including transport planner, project managers and team leaders.

You will find yourself extended technically but you will be rewarded with a variety of work and a level of responsibility not available in other larger organisations. Should you choose to work from home on ‘non-core’ days, you will be trusted to work independently but you will still have the support of senior colleagues who will be available via telephone and videocall.
