Cass Design Consulting is the design arm of the DLP Group, offering a multidisciplinary design service including Masterplanning, Architecture, and Landscape Architecture based from our Liverpool City Centre office.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a talented and qualified Architect with +5 years of relevant post‑qualification experience to deliver on a range of projects locally in the Northwest and nationally through the wider DLP Group client network.

Our projects span residential and commercial sectors, often utilising our in‑house multidisciplinary team.

We support staff with a very active training and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme aimed at education, feedback, and skill development.

All staff are encouraged to present on relevant topics to develop presentation skills.

Each staff member is formally reviewed at least annually, reflecting achievements and future goals to promote learning and growth.

We provide support for chartership progression (e. g., RIBA) and mentor you throughout your career development.

What do we expect from you?

As a Senior Architect you will work under the supervision of the office Director. Your duties will include:

  • Leading and managing projects within residential and commercial sectors across all RIBA work stages.
  • Preparing quotations and tender submissions.
  • Being highly organised with an appetite for continual improvement.
  • Co‑ordinating with clients, contractors and other internal and external team members.
  • Independently producing detailed architectural drawings packages, specifications and construction documentation.
  • Chairing meetings, recording minutes and actions.
  • Acting as contract administrator, administering JCT minor work contracts and RIBA domestic contracts.
  • Carrying out site inspection visits to ensure technical compliance and high quality.
  • Being commercially aware and able to work within budgets and timescales.
  • Holding a full UK driver’s licence.
