Key Tasks
·Manage a portfolio of Wholesalers, ranging from Nationals, Regional Buying groups and Independents
·Work alongside the NAM responsible for the Head office management of the specific buying group and then manage the portfolio of wholesalers within the region of responsibility
·Negotiate and manage annual terms within the regional base wholesalers to maximise return on investment (supported by the NAM)
·Manage multi-level functional contacts within a regional wholesaler base
·Manage independent leads captured on the Delifrance website and added to monthly tracker
·Identify and develop key end user accounts within wholesaler sales teams to develop core account business
·Identify key non trading wholesalers within defined geographic area
·Working as part of a Foodservice team working cross functionally across both Wholesale and End User sectors
Skills and Competencies
·A passion for quality products and a drive to succeed in new listings and retention of business
·A proven track record in food sales – bakery knowledge would be advantageous
·An experience in selling to Wholesalers & regional buying groups
·A strong knowledge of the wholesalers within the regional location
·Proven sales skills and problem solving ability
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·Excellent presentation and administrative skills
·Organised with the ability to work on own initiative
·Ability to build strong relationships
·Ability to interpret and analyse sales data
·Full clean driving licence – regular travel and overnight stays will be required
